If I Could Only Add Music to the Background of Each Post....

Today's music would have to be the background music from the classic western movie ~ High Noon. You all know the scene... Noon in a small dusty Kansas town, the Marshall left alone by all the cowardly townsfolk to meet the Miller gang. Marshal Kane standing in the street, with that tough guy expression, waiting for the noon train carrying his nemesis. I can hear the music in my head now...

Why am I thinking it would have been the perfect music for today...

Abby and Lilli started the day off with a classic western movie stare down in the tub this morning... man oh man... neither was going to give in! Minutes were going by ~ and what usually is their favorite activity together was NOT! I did not miss a second... but I don't know who or why the stare down started... but I know who and how it was finished...I finally (don't give me trouble) poured a stacking cup of cold water over both of their heads! And... within seconds they were laughing and cutting up as usual!

The rest of the day has been much better. We dressed and headed for Questacon ~ The Canberra Children's Museum. This is one of our favorite spot's in the Australian Capital!!! Lots of hands on fun for little ones - bakery, vet's office, construction zone, cave, spaceship, gas station and play space - and a nice snack bar for lunch before returning home for a good afternoon nap!
